Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Dirang

Distance: 270 km | Travel Time: 7–8 hours

Highlights:

▸ Pickup from Guwahati Airport/Guwahati Railway Station early morning (around 8:00 AM).
▸ Begin the scenic journey to Dirang, a serene valley in the Eastern Himalayas.
▸ Drive through lush valleys and winding mountain roads.
▸ Reach Dirang by evening.
▸ Spend the evening exploring the peaceful surroundings and village life.
Stay: Overnight in Dirang.



Day 2: Dirang to Tawang via Sela Pass

Distance: 130 km | Travel Time: 7 hours

Highlights:

▸ Enjoy a relaxed morning with breakfast and valley views.
▸ Cross the majestic Sela Pass (13,700 ft) – one of Northeast India’s highest motorable passes.
▸ Visit Sela Lake and Nyukmadung War Memorial en route.
▸ Pay respects at the Jaswantgarh War Memorial.
▸ Stop at the stunning Nuranang Waterfalls before reaching Tawang.

Day 3: Tawang Local Sightseeing

Distance: 25 km | Travel Time: 3 hours

Day 4: Bum La Pass & Lakes via Local Taxi

Distance: 70 km | Travel Time: 6 hours

▸ Visit Bum La Pass (15,200 ft) on the Indo-China border (subject to permits & road clearance).

Day 5: Tawang to Bomdila via Sangti Valley

Distance: 170 km | Travel Time: 8 hours

▸ Stop at the Sela Tunnel – India’s longest twin-lane tunnel above 13,000 ft.
▸ Enjoy a scenic drive through mountain landscapes with panoramic viewpoints.

Day 6: Bomdila to Guwahati (Departure)

Distance: 250 km | Travel Time: 8 hours

▸ Scenic return drive to Guwahati, passing through valleys and small towns.
▸ Drop-off at Guwahati Airport/Guwahati Railway Station by evening.

An Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required to visit Tawang. Don’t worry—our team will arrange this for you before the tour.

▸ Special permit for Bum La Pass is required and will be provided by us.
