Welcome to Journeys & Frames! By booking a trip or trek with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read these terms carefully to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Booking Policy
If you’re booking 30 days or more in advance:
Pay ₹2,000 per person (non-refundable) to confirm your booking.
Pay 50% of the total amount at least 30 days before the trip.
Pay the remaining amount on the trip start date.
If you’re booking less than 30 days before the trip:
Pay 50% of the total amount to confirm your booking.
Pay the remaining amount on the trip start date.
Payment Options
- We only accept payments online via UPI or bank transfer.
- Important Note: All payments must be cleared before the tour or trek begins.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- The booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- For cancellations:
- If you cancel 30 days or more before the trip: Get 50% of the advance back. For example, if you booked a ₹14,000 package, you pay ₹2,000 booking fee plus ₹5,000 advance. If you cancel 30 days or more before the trip, you’ll get ₹2,500 back (50% of the ₹5,000 advance).
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 30 days before the trip/trek.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be credited within 7-10 business days.
- The non-refundable booking amount will be provided to you as a travel credit, which you can use for any future booking with us within the next six months from the cancellation date.
Partial Cancellation & Non-Participation (Only applicable if cancelling less than 30 days before the trip/trek start date)
Any cancellation, withdrawal, or non-participation by one or more participants after the tour has been confirmed shall be treated as a partial cancellation and will be governed by the terms below.
For Group Tours/Treks
- In case of group tour bookings, if any individual participant cancels after confirmation, the cancellation shall be treated as an individual cancellation.
- The total package cost for the remaining participants shall not be recalculated or reduced, and the applicable cancellation policy will apply to the cancelling participant.
- The members, along with the cancelled participant, shall be responsible for paying the full balance amount as per the originally confirmed package price. For example, 3 friends book a group tour together for ₹45,000 as the total amount. If one friend cancels, the total booking amount remains ₹45,000, and the friends who booked together must settle the full amount among themselves, without any price reduction from Journeys & Frames.
For Private Tours/Treks
In the event of cancellation, withdrawal, or no-show of any participant, the total confirmed tour cost shall remain unchanged, and no reduction or renegotiation of the package price will be applicable. The remaining participants shall be liable to pay the entire confirmed tour amount, irrespective of the number of participants travelling.
- No Price Revision: Once a tour is confirmed, no revision, reduction, or renegotiation of the package cost will be entertained due to partial cancellation, non-participation, or no-show of any participant.
- Internal Cost Adjustment: Any cost adjustment arising due to partial cancellation shall be managed internally among the participants. Journeys & Frames shall not be responsible for redistributing or reallocating costs within the group.
Children’s Policy
- Infants (1–5 years): Free of cost.
- One child (6–12 years) without an extra bed: Free of cost.
- One child (6–12 years) with an extra bed: Charged at 50% of the adult per-person cost.
- Two children (6–12 years): Will be considered as one adult for pricing purposes.
Parental Responsibility for Minors: Parents or legal guardians are solely responsible for the supervision, safety, and conduct of their minor children throughout the trip/trek. Journeys & Frames shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, loss, or incident involving minors arising from lack of supervision or any activity undertaken during the trip/trek.
Changes in Itinerary
- Journeys & Frames reserves the right to modify or cancel the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, roadblocks, or government restrictions.
- In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made wherever possible. Refunds will not be provided for itinerary changes beyond our control.
Responsibilities of the Participant
- Participants are responsible for carrying their own valid government-issued ID for verification purposes.
- Adherence to the tour/trek schedule is mandatory. Journeys & Frames will not be liable for delays caused by participants.
- Participants are expected to follow the instructions of guides or coordinators to ensure safety and smooth operations.
Health and Safety
- Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
- Journeys & Frames will not be responsible for any health issues arising during the trip/trek due to non-disclosure of medical conditions.
Liability Disclaimer
- While we ensure your safety and comfort, participation in adventure activities involves inherent risks.
- Journeys & Frames will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the trip/trek.
- It is recommended to have your own travel insurance for additional safety.
Accidents and Liability
While we take necessary precautions to ensure safety, adventure activities inherently involve risks, including but not limited to injuries, accidents, or loss of life.
Journeys & Frames will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or fatalities occurring during the trip/trek.
Participants undertake all activities at their own risk and are strongly advised to have appropriate travel and health insurance to cover emergencies.
In case of an emergency, our team will assist in arranging medical help, but all related expenses will be borne by the participant.
Code of Conduct
- Participants are expected to respect local culture, environment, and fellow travellers.
- Any form of misconduct, harassment, or illegal activity will result in immediate termination from the trip without refund.
Force Majeure
- Journeys & Frames will not be liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political disturbances.
Safety In Case Of War/National Emergency
In case of a war or any unforeseen national emergency that directly impacts travel safety and logistics, our refund policy will be guided by the situation at that time. Here’s how we generally handle such scenarios:
If the tour is cancelled by us due to safety concerns or government restrictions:
A full refund will be issued, excluding the non-refundable booking amount.
The non-refundable portion will be provided to you as a travel credit, which you can use for any future booking with us within six months.
If the tour proceeds as planned but you choose to cancel:
Our standard cancellation policy will apply unless there is an official government advisory or travel ban.
That said, we always strive to be flexible and will do our best to recover costs from our vendors to minimise your loss.
Please note: Many of our bookings involve non-refundable advance payments to local partners (such as hotels and transport), so the final refund amount depends on their individual cancellation policies.
Photography and Media
By participating in our tours, you consent to being photographed or filmed during the trip. These images may be used for promotional purposes by Journeys & Frames. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in advance.
Privacy Policy
At Journeys & Frames, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We understand the importance of keeping your data secure and private. When you share your information with us, you can trust that it will be handled with care and responsibility.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anybody under any circumstances. Your information is only shared in the following situations:

Service Providers: Such as email platforms, payment gateways, or website tools that help us operate smoothly and securely. These partners are also bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
